LUKAS HASSELL

I’m a filmmaker and aspiring Director of Photography originally from the Washington, D.C. area, now based in Utah. I hold a Bachelor of Individualized Studies in Media and Visual Communication, and my background in photography has shaped how I see light, composition, and movement—skills I bring into my cinematography and visual storytelling.

Photography remains an important part of my creative foundation, particularly street, landscape, and documentary work. Much of that experience has come through travel, documenting places and moments across different countries, and that documentary-driven perspective continues to influence how I approach cinematography.
